Day 2 – IN KATRA
Katra is famous primarily for Mata Vaishno Devi, so brace yourself for a spiritual favours and blessings. Mata Vaishno Devi is at a distance of 8 hours return by walk, so keep enchanting the spiritual words and get blessed with divinity. The journey should gratify your body and soul equally with divinity and blessings. Drive back to your hotel and relax yourself with delicious dinner and a night stay.
Day 3 – KATRA TO PAHALGAM
Start your day with heavy breakfast as you will be proceeding towards Pahalgam which is known for valleys and Bollywood movies. The journey will take around 7 hours 30 minutes. and you should visit On the way do some local shopping for Saffron and Kashmiri antics. Enjoy your evening on the bank of river lidder and calm your nerves with the soothing sound of flowing water. Check in to your hotel and relax yourself with delicious dinner and a night stay.
Day 4 – PAHALGHAM TO SRINAGAR WITH PAHALGAM SIGHTSEEING
Start your day early with heavy breakfast and explore the beautiful Pahalgam. If you are in Pahalgam you should not miss the Aru Valley, Chandanwari valley and Betaab valley. They are all famous for being the site for Bollywood movies. If you are in Pahalgam and have not visited the Baisaran valley famously called as Mini Switzerland then you have seen nothing. A word of caution though, you will have to use ponnies to ride to Baisaran valley as no vehicle is allowed to go there. Also the route remains closed during adverse weather conditions. In the evening drive towards srinagar. Check in to your houseboat and relax yourself with delicious dinner and a night stay.
Day 5 – SRINAGAR TO SONMARG DAY TRIP
Start your day early and drive to Sonmarg which is at a distance of 80 km from srinagar and can be covered in 2 hours. Once in Sonmarg you should visit Thajwas glacier. You will have to use ponies to reach the glacier. You should also visit fish point in Sonmarg for a small boat ride and zorbing ball. If you have a nick for water and heights then white water rafting and trekking is a must in Sonmarg. Drive back to your hotel for night stay and appease your hunger with international cuisine and retire to your bed.
Day 6 – SRINAGAR TO GULMARG DAY TRIP
Gulmarg is at a travel distance of 50 Km from the Srinagar which is to be covered in one and half hour. We could halt at Tangmarg for a cup of coffee and relax our muscles. The major locations to be covered are Golf Club, Strawberry Valley, Nageen Valley and Maharaja Palace. It is a shame if we come to Gulmarg and don’t enjoy the highest cable rope car in the world famously known as Gondola. It can take you up to the height of 16,000 ft. above sea level and will mesmerise you will the glaciers of Khilanmerg and Afarwat. A word of caution, it is cold there so brace yourself with warm clothes and accessories. Drive back to Srinagar and check in to your hotel and appease your hunger with international cuisine and retire to your bed for a night stay.
Day 7 – IN SRINAGAR
Start you day early with heavy breakfast. Our driver will guide you to the Shikara wala who will enthral you with the mesmerising shikara ride of dal lake. A trip to Srinagar without visiting Mughal gardens is incomplete. Mesmerize yourself with the Mughal Gardens of Emperor Shahjahan which include Shalimar Garden, Nishat Garden and Cheshmashahi Garden. For those who are devotee of Lord Shiva, a visit to the Shankar Achariya Temple is a must. It is stragically located on top of a hill. Get the spiritual vibes from 2500 year old temple and simultaneously muse your eyes with the beautiful whole Dal lake view. On the way you could also visit the famous Parimahal known primarily for being the musical court of Mughal King Shah Jahan. In the evening check in to your hotel and relax yourself with delicious dinner and a night stay.
Day 8 – AIRPORT DROP
Satiate yourself with breakfast and bliss memories of Kashmir. Your driver will drive you back to your departure port. We bid adieu to you and wish you had a wonderful journey.
